Meet the Team Behind Restoration 1 of Wesley Chapel

Restoration 1 of Wesley Chapel is locally owned and operated by Daniel Velez, a U.S. Coast Guard veteran who spent years in the insurance industry before opening his own restoration company.

Working property claims, Daniel saw firsthand how overwhelming water damage, fire damage, and other property losses can be for families and business owners — and he learned how to guide people through the claims process, solve problems, and communicate clearly when it matters most. In the Coast Guard, he learned the value of service, accountability, and staying calm when things don't go according to plan. He brings both to every job: he understands the stress property damage creates, and the importance of acting quickly, communicating clearly, and doing right by the customer.

Daniel is also bilingual in English and Spanish, allowing him to better serve the diverse families and businesses across Wesley Chapel and North Tampa. He treats every customer's property as if it were his own — honest, responsive, and available when people need help.

More than a business owner, Daniel sees himself as a resource for the community: helping homeowners after a loss, building relationships with local businesses, and supporting community organizations. His goal is simple — to serve the Wesley Chapel and North Tampa communities with integrity, professionalism, and compassion, so people know they're getting a real person who cares about the outcome.
