Preserving Irreplaceable Reclaimed Hardwood

These specialized blue mats seal directly to the hardwood floor, concentrating controlled heat and targeted airflow directly into the wood grain. This draws the trapped moisture up to the surface where our industrial dehumidifiers can capture it.

Targeted Floor Drying: As shown, we mapped out the worst-hit zones of the room and deployed the high-efficiency drying mats directly over the historic planks. We utilized commercial-grade LGR (Low Grain Refrigerant) dehumidifiers and strategic air movers to keep the relative humidity in the room critically low, pulling gallons of water out of the air every hour.

Precision Demolition: To save the floors, we had to be strategic elsewhere. We performed neat "flood cuts" along the base of the walls to expose the wet wall studs and dry them out completely, preventing mold growth while leaving the beautiful barn wood completely intact.
